The wedding I did for Amanda & Phil at The Morris Museum featured a throw-back theme with 50's attire, black and white Tuxedos with high top sneakers, big buttoned dresses and a wash of Red and White flowers to bring out the color and liven up the rooms.
Bridal Work
The Bridal Bouquet and M.O.H Bouquets featured Red Gerber Daisies with Red Tulips & Red Anamones mixed in for variety. The Bridal Bouquet added White Hydrangea while both pieces were filled with old fashion Red & White buttons we were able to locate for the wedding.
The Corsages and Boutonnières were kept simple featuring Dendrobium Orchids; a simple red bow and black button made the corsage different and kept to the theme of Black, Red & White.
The Church
The Alter Baskets at the Church consisted of White Hydrangea, Red Gerber Daisies & Red Gladiolas stretching out for volume.
The Flower girl basket consisted of petals from the Tulips & Anemones as well as some white Hydrangea scattered throughout.
Both Featured Black & White polka dot ribbons to stay consistent with the accessories on the women's dresses.
The Reception
At The Reception all of the elements came together as the featured centerpieces of White Hydrangea, Red Tulips, Red Gerber Daisies & Red Anemones sat atop a vase filled with clear gel balls with black buttons floating throughout. The button theme played into the centerpieces and matched the black and white dot patterns of the table cloths and place cards.
The Black and White dot theme finalized with a large block cake on a red table that I highlighted with red Tulips, Gerber Daisies and Anemones as well as a scattering of extra buttons on the table. The throw bouquet of White Hydrangea and Red Gerbers' can be seen on the side on the table.
A ramp we highlighted with white lights lead guests to the cocktail area where smaller centerpieces featured a single Red Gerber Daisy floating on a bed of clear gel balls spotted with Black button
The snack tables were also highlighted with red Tulips, Anenomes and assorted greens
