Suzanne & Ken wedding – Highlawn Pavilion -West Orange NJ
October 1st 2011 – Suzanne & Ken got married at the beautiful Highlawn Pavilion and were one of three jobs I had to kick off October. These magnificent Fall colors are a combination of White Hydrangea, Orange Idole Rose, Purple Statice, Brown Hypericum, Yellow Cymbidiums, Calla Lilly and yes those are Red Peppers you see. Low centerpieces were complimented by two larger alter pieces but the showcase ended up being a large clay planter with Palm branches which we decorated to the theme of the event. A bit of an impromptu job but it came out fabulously and was still there a few days later, I think I started a trend. Click here for the simple gallery of this colorful job.

Megan & Sean wedding – The Park Savoy -Florham Park NJ
September 25th 2011 – The Park Savoy is quickly becoming one or my most frequented venues of the Summer and I can understand why as it’s stunning outdoor setting would lure in any perspective client. When I planned the flowers for Megan & Seans wedding they shared with me a very unique idea, they wanted to bring in two trees as back drops for the ceremony, then they would plant the trees at their house after wards. I was so intrigued with the idea of decorating trees I hadn’t really planned on the actual size of what I was getting into. When they delivered the two 15′ + trees in plain planters and told me to go at it I broke out the step ladder and got to work. The final product came together with a beautiful combination of Brown Hypericum, red Freedom roses, White Dendrobian, Pink California Heather, Blue & white Hydrangea Vendella roses and a variety of ivy and assorted greens. April & Fred wedding – The Old Mill Inn – Basking Ridge NJ
September 23rd 2011 -The ceremony of April and Fred featured some of the most exotic and unique bouquets and corsages I have done to date. Johanna C. Wedding – The Highlawn Pavilion West Orange NJ
June 24th 2011 - When Johanna and I first talked about her July wedding at the Highlawn Pavilion in West Orange, the game plan was for a stunning outdoor wedding under the gazebo. Well, mother nature had other ideas for us and with a series of Summer storms rolling through the area we had to do a last minute change over and improvise to a White Birch arch that my husband masterfully assembled the night before. In the end, as always, we made everything fabulous. With her husband to be a police officer the theme colors were blue and white so we went with Delphinium to capture the blue and white roses and hydrangea to match the white. The bouquet also featured studded Stepanotis while the arch was covered with Hydrangea, Roses, Ivy & other greens for a full effect. The centerpieces were highlighted with white candles in blue a votive, blue gem stones and blue LED’s in each vase. Click here for a look at this full job gallery.

Katie C. 40th Birthday Party – Short Hills, NJ
June 4th 2011- As much as I love my wedding work, there’s something about going to a persons home and doing it up something special for a great event. When Katie C. needed a Mexican theme for her husbands 40th birthday party we out our heads together and turned her simple back patio into a hot south of the boarder fiesta. For the flowers we used Orange, yellow and red Gerber daisies with Green hydrangea. Various size and color peppers filled the centerpiece vase while special gecko decorations adorned the bushes and swing. Pillar candles on a candy base finished the centerpieces while blinking LED net lighting covered the bushes for a stunning light display in the evening. Lucite Chuppah – Addison Park, Aberdeen NJ
June 12th 2011: When I first met with Gil and Jessica about their Spring wedding at Addison park they talked about some real out of the box ideas including a Lucite Chuppah and custom etched vases. It was a new venture for us but one we took on with a lot of excitement and in the end the results were fabulous. The ceremony featured a 7′ high Chuppah with 12″ Plexi glass columns connected by acrylic poles and covered with a beautiful material. The chuppah was sparsely decorated with “floating” rose heads in the columns and hanging crystals and rose heads across the top. There were three separate centerpieces involved, a simple round bowl with bunched roses, a tall vase featuring floating gem stones, LED lighting and a brilliant red rose and red carnation top arrangement. The final centerpiece included five separate cylinder vases of varying sizes with simple spray roses and petals as well as a custom etched vase with a Betta fish for entertainment. C.I.B.S. Annual Holiday Gala – Hilton Hotel Time Square NYC
December 12th 2010 – For the second year in a row we were honored to be invited to do the flowers for the Cosmetic Industry Buyers / Sellers annual Holiday gala and this year the event was moved to the elegant Time Square Hilton. Time Square in December, that in itself set an atmosphere which was intimidating in itself. The event called for (85) holiday themed centerpieces which I used holiday greens, roses , candles and assorted pine cones and other accessories to make each piece unique. We also upped our display this year by doing large stage pieces and decorating rails, side tables and any other space we saw that needed touching up. In the end it was a fabulous spectacle that got us invited back for the 2011 event. Enjoy the gallery of this event by clicking here or on the image to your right.
